Burrs appear in metal processing is a problem that everyone will encounter, such as drilling, turning, milling, plate cutting and other processes will produce burrs, and burrs are very easy to cut people. So today, Shanghai deburring machine manufacturers will tell you about the processes for deburring.

1. Manual deburring

Generally, the method commonly used by small factories is to use files, sandpaper and grinding heads as basic tools. Among them, there are artificial files and pneumatic files. The labor cost is high, the efficiency is low, and the special-shaped penetration holes are difficult to remove. Scope of application: The technical requirements of workers are not high, the applicable burr is small, and the structure of the parts is complex.

2. Die deburring

Using a die, use the die to deburr in a punch. For the cost of a die (rough die + fine die), it may be necessary to add a set of shaping die. Scope of application: It is suitable for workpieces with complex parting surfaces, and the efficiency and deburring effect are better than those of manual work.

3. Grinding and deburring

There are many methods for grinding and deburring, among which the common ones include: oscillation, sandblasting, roller and other methods. There are disadvantages of unclean removal, and some require subsequent manual disposal of remaining burrs or other methods to remove burrs. Scope of application: suitable for small pieces with larger batches.

4. Frozen deburring

Use cooling to make the surface of the burr brittle, and then use the blasting projectile to remove the burr. The equipment is about 200,000 or 300,000, not all companies can use it; Scope of application: suitable for products with small burr wall thickness and small workpiece.

Five, hot blast deburring

Or called thermal deburring, blasting deburring. Pass some flammable gas into the equipment furnace, and then pass through some medium and conditions, let the gas explode instantly, and use the energy emitted by the blasting to dissolve and remove the burr. The equipment is very expensive (millions), the operator has high technical requirements, low efficiency, and side effects (rusting, deformation); scope of application: used in some high-precision parts, such as car spacecraft and other precision parts.

Six, engraving machine deburring

The equipment is not very expensive (tens of thousands), and the scope of application: it is suitable for complex spatial structure and complex and regular deburring parts.

Seven, chemical deburring

Using electrochemical principles, parts made of metal materials are automatically and selectively deburred. It is suitable for internal burrs that are difficult to remove, and is suitable for large burrs on workpieces such as pump bodies and valve bodies (thickness is less than 7 wires).

8. Electrolytic deburring

An electrolytic machining method that uses electrolytic effect to remove burrs from metal parts. The electrolyte is corrosive to a certain extent, and the parts around the burrs are also electrolyzed, and the surface will lose its original luster, affecting the dimensional accuracy. After the workpiece is deburred, it should be cleaned and treated for rust prevention.

Scope of application: It is suitable for removing burrs from hidden parts of intersecting holes or parts with complex shapes. It has high efficiency and only needs a few seconds to tens of seconds to remove burrs. It is suitable for deburring gears, connecting rods, valve bodies and crankshaft oil passage holes, etc., as well as rounding of sharp corners.

9. High-pressure water spray to deburr

Using water as the medium, it uses its instant impact to remove the burrs and flashes that appear after processing, and has the effect of cleaning. The equipment is expensive, and most of them are used in the heart of the car and the hydraulic control system of the construction machine.

10. Ultrasonic deburring

Ultrasonic uses instantaneous high pressure to remove burrs. For some microscopic burrs, if the burrs need to be viewed with a microscope, you can try to remove them with ultrasonic waves.

To remove burrs, a secondary operation called deburring is usually required. 3 deburring and edge finishing of precision parts can account for 30% of the cost of the finished part. Also, secondary finishing operations are difficult to automate, so burrs really become a tricky problem.
